Do I need an account to browse?

No. Browse listings, watch videos, like rooms, and save listings for free. No signup required.

Are my saves and activity tied to my identity?

No. We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal info just to browse. Your saves and liked rooms are tied to an anonymous ID stored in your browser, not to you, so they'll still be there the next time you visit on the same device. We just don't know who you are.

What's the difference between Grid and Video mode?

Video is the scrolling, TikTok style feed. Grid shows the same listings as a photo and price browsing view, closer to a traditional listing site. Switch between them any time from the buttons at the top of the feed page.

What happens when I tap Contact agent or Contact lister?

Your name and whatever contact info you enter is sent directly to the person who posted that listing, so they can follow up with you. We never sell or share that information with anyone else.

What does double-tapping a room do?

Double-tap (or tap the heart) while watching a video to like whatever room is on screen. It's anonymous, doesn't require an account, and helps the agent or lister see which rooms buyers respond to most.

What does the ✨ Top 10 search do?

Type what you're looking for in plain English, like "cheapest 2 bedroom in Silver Lake" or "best value with a pool," and it returns up to 10 real listings that best match, ranked.

Why can't I see a listing's exact address?

We only show an approximate location until you reach out to the agent or lister. See our Safety page for more on touring safely.

What's the difference between an Agent and a Lister account?

Agent accounts are for licensed real estate agents and can add a DRE license number for a "Verified Agent" badge. Lister accounts are for anyone renting out a room or their own home without a license. Same tools, no license needed, and no verification badge.

I don't have a walkthrough video. Can I still list a property?

Yes. Upload room by room photos instead, and we'll generate a video walkthrough automatically.

How does agent verification work?

Our team manually cross-checks each agent's DRE license. Once approved, their listings show a Verified Agent badge to buyers. Lister accounts don't go through this process.

Can I edit or take down a listing after publishing?

Yes, from your dashboard. Edit any listing's details any time.

Can I delete my account entirely?

Yes. Email us at info@topreelestate.com and we'll permanently delete your account along with every listing, photo, and video you've posted. This can't be undone.
